We also find basic touch controls and a solid volume wheel with a great tactile feel.

Acoustic Architecture

In the acoustic section, this equipment integrates a complete set of transducers consisting of two tweeters with waveguides, two midwoofers, and six woofers. This configuration is designed to offer a balanced sound with good bass extension, clarity in the midrange, and a high level of detail in the high frequencies. This multiway architecture allows the system to function as a high performance stereo solution without the need for any external speakers.

The front grille is easily removable. Without it, the Allt i Ett gains a more technical and aggressive aesthetic. While the app is easy to download, install, and pair with the unit, it presents some instability in normal use. Other brands like WiiM or Eversolo, with more experience in digital audio and compact products, have more intuitive and seamless apps. Future updates will surely resolve this issue completely. For streaming music, the best approach is to use the native app of your chosen platform directly and select the Primare as the output. The Connect function works perfectly. Therefore, it is best to reserve the Prisma app mainly for initial configuration. For users of DAB or internet radio, the app does allow the location of almost any station in the world. The complete connectivity also deserves mention, featuring interesting details like a headphone output hidden on one side.

Sound Performance

The amplification offers up to 300 Watts in Class D, which is an excellent choice that guarantees efficiency and ensures plenty of headroom. The first question that arises is whether an all in one system will be able to offer a credible stereo image. To test this, we started with Protocol 6 by Simon Phillips. After playing with the DSP, the equalization, and the positioning options for corners or rear walls, the equipment was left without any processing. Unless you have a very difficult room, it simply does not need it.

The Allt i Ett exhibits massive power. Phillips drums attack mercilessly, and the Primare delivers the bass with speed and punch without faltering. Except for very specific cases, an additional subwoofer is entirely unnecessary. The Allt i Ett stands perfectly on its own, and that explosion of bass is closer to excess than defect. The brand has done an excellent job, and it seems incredible that relatively small transducers yield this result.

The system is also capable of building a wide, deep soundstage that easily fills the room. It does not quite reach the channel separation that two independent speakers would offer, but it comes remarkably close. To examine the finer details of the sound, we played 30 by Sophie Zelmani. The singer's voice reaches us close and with a timbral fidelity typical of a true High End separate component system. The sonic signature of the brand is present in the best sense: cleanliness, acoustic warmth in vocals and strings, and great instrument separation.

The dynamics and the focalization of the voice are positively surprising. With this type of music, which is more relaxed and analog, you realize that this device is much more than just a clever soundbar. Testing continued across various music genres and via Bluetooth with the television. Performance was outstanding in all cases, particularly in action movies, as it is capable of generating a certain three dimensionality in scenes with special effects. With the wattage it possesses, it fills the room with authority up to volumes that could test relations with your neighbors.

The Primare Allt i Ett is a practical solution for the demanding audiophile who requires sound on par with a good High Fidelity system. Perhaps its biggest hurdle is the price. It is certainly not a budget product, and it can be striking that a compact device sits around 3,000 euros. However, it must be valued based on the extraordinary quality it offers and its great versatility. Viewed this way, the opportunity cost of acquiring separate components that offer the same performance would surely be much higher. It is a relative issue, and in the end, we must thank Primare for making no concessions, launching an exclusive product that is practically unsurpassable within the all in one concept.
